Hmm. This post has me thinking. What would you say to a genderqueer-ish Egyptian Creation Myth based on my own headcanon? I kind of have developed my own version and I've never gotten around to actually writing it down before.
But if that'd be too esoteric, I've been pondering a few other ideas as well. Maybe that contemporary version of Robin Hood that I started last year for a writing class. It was based around gangland violence in the UK and that sort of thing, but there's only about 300 words of it and it could easily be worked into something for this collection. There's plenty of room to give it more of a queer bent than it currently has.
